Success Stories
Bolton Global Capital Inc.
We chose Bolton primarily because of location and accessibility. From Bolton, there is easy access to Interstate 495, Interstate 290, Massachusetts Turnpike, Route 9, Route 2 and Route 3. Our employees can easily commute to our office from the greater Boston, Worcester and Providence areas as well as New Hampshire and Rhode Island in less time than would be involved in commuting to downtown Boston.
The people who visit our office from elsewhere in the US (and foreign countries) consistently remark on the beauty of our office and of this rural area. They are surprised that we are able to conduct an international securities trading business in a small town setting. Our business is technology intensive and relies on skilled professionals who have been trained in the major financial centers. Yet we have no problem competing on a worldwide basis with major financial institutions. In addition to the above factors, we are expanding in Bolton because the town is run on a fiscally prudent basis which is good for property tax rates, and town officials have been very cooperative in working with us to implement our expansion plans.
“Spending less time commuting, allows our employees to spend more time with their families and more time devoted to helping grow our business and advancing their careers with the company.”
THE NASHOBA VALLEY WINERY
Growing up in Fitchburg, I was always amazed by the beauty, the friendliness of the people and the overall quality of life in Bolton. Fifteen years ago, I got the opportunity of a lifetime, when given the opportunity to acquire Nashoba Valley Winery.
“I have never looked back or questioned my decision as my vision of Bolton has only gotten better. Bolton is a community of friends and a community that has always supported the growth of our business. It just does not get much better.”
Bolton Invests in our Future
The town of Bolton has recently made significant investments updating and upgrading our infrastructure to better serve the needs of our growing community.
Finished in 2010, the brand new Public Safety Building accommodates police, fire, ambulance and dispatch operations. The Bolton Police and Fire Departments and their dedicated staff of Officers and Dispatchers care deeply for the safety and protection of the residents they serve and are committed to providing the best possible service at all times to this community.
The newly expanded and updated historic Bolton Public Library has over 37,000 items including books, magazines, newspapers, audio books, music, and movies. The spectacular addition to the library houses a children’s library with story time and craft space, a young adult library, a local history room, periodicals room, reading room, and several quiet study areas.
